    What is the difference between Single and Double Sided Flags?

    The double-sided flags are made by printing two pieces of fabric and sewing them together with a blackout layer in the middle. This ensures that the design won’t shine through to the other side. This also gives the option of using two completely different artworks on each side.

    The single-sided flags are printed on a single piece of fabric- just one flag. You will be able to see the design from the other side, it will appear reversed and lighter since it is showing through from the front side. (Think about writing on a piece of paper with a Sharpie and how it looks on the other side).

    What material are your flags?

    Our flags are a high-quality UV protected polyester blend with durable double stitch sewing. This material is UV-resistant and rated for wind speeds up to 25 mph. The material is also weather-resistant, but we recommend not displaying our flags outdoors on high wind or snowy days to extend their lifespan. All flags are sewn with a double lockstitch sewing.

    Maintenance Info

    We suggest bringing flags inside during inclement weather, at night, or if it gets super windy. Make sure to store away properly when not in use. Flags should be brought in during high winds and storms and are rated for wind speeds up to 25 mph.

    How Long do flags last?

    The lifespan can vary greatly depending on various weather factors, many of which vary by region like Sun/UV intensity, snow, or high rates of winds. We use a high-quality UV protected polyester blend and durable double stitch sewing to minimize the impact of these unavoidable environmental factors, and to maximize the lifespan of your flag. Because of this, flags are warrantied for 90 days.

    Do you offer customization?

    Yes, you can customize your flags with your logo, property information, special saying, and colors to match your aesthetic. Our graphic team will design based off your selections and send you a proof to approve before production. We’re happy to help answer any questions you may have.

    Can I rush the production time?

    Pole Information

    Feather flags are meant to be flown with our Pole Kit – SKU: WBPOLEKIT. The pole set is made from a combination of lightweight aluminum and fiberglass poles for durability. Using the ground stake, the flag can be placed in grass or soil. We also offer an additional base option that allows the flag to be displayed indoors or on hard surfaces as well.

    Vertical Flags can be flown on several types of flag poles. We recommend our 13 foot white aluminum pole SKU: USK13A. These flags can also be flown on a 10 foot pole for a shorter look, or any size over 13 foot for a higher up look.

    What is the Tie-Down Clip on the pole used for?

    The tie-down clip is a little clip that works on the bottom of the pole. It secures the string at the bottom of the flag to the pole. This helps retain the flags shape to stay open.

    Do these flags have another name?

    Yes, Feather flags are called multiple names. Welcome Home America previously called these flags Widebody Windleaser Flags. They are also commonly referred to as: Beach Flags, Wave Flags, Super Flags, Apartment Leasing Flags, and Windless Banner Flags.
