3x8 Flag FAQ's
What is the difference between Single and Double Sided Flags?
The double-sided flags are made by printing two pieces of fabric and sewing them together with a blackout layer in the middle. This ensures that the design won’t shine through to the other side. This also gives the option of using two completely different artworks on each side.
The single-sided flags are printed on a single piece of fabric- just one flag. You will be able to see the design from the other side, it will appear reversed and lighter since it is showing through from the front side. (Think about writing on a piece of paper with a Sharpie and how it looks on the other side).
What is the difference between Economy & Deluxe Flags?
Economy flags are screen printed. Deluxe flags are dye sublimation method. Sublimation printing embeds the ink into the fabric, while in screen printing (economy), the ink sits on top of the fabric. Both versions create vibrant colors, but the sublimation colors sinks into the fabric and will be vibrant from both sides, while the screen print lays on top and won’t be vibrant from both sides. In the sublimation process, since the color is embedded into the fabric fibers, colors don’t wash out as easily, or crack or peel. A sublimation print is durable and long lasting. Screen printing also provides good print quality, but since the ink sits on top of the garment, screen printing can be less durable over time than sublimation printing. After many washes or being in the sun for long periods, the ink colors can fade.
Deluxe flags with color choices (Stripe, squiggle & wave) will have the colors dyed and sewn together, where economy flags will have the colors printed on one piece of fabric. We recommend ordering the deluxe version for Panel flags for vibrant colors on both sides. Note that colors will not show through the flag in economy printed flags (think about writing on a piece of paper with a Sharpie and how it looks on the other side).
What are the sizes of your vertical flags?

Do the Flags come with grommets?
Yes, all of our 3x8 vertical drape flags come with 4 grommets on the left edge of the flag. The 4 grommets allow you to clip into or attach to any flagpole of your choice.
Pole Recommendation Information:
To best display these 8 foot tall marketing flags so they flap nicely in the breeze, we recommend no shorter than a 13 foot flagpole, and up to a 28 foot tall flagpole. See more flagpole information below.
What material are your flags?
Our flags are a high-quality UV protected polyester blend with durable double stitch sewing. This material is UV-resistant and rated for wind speeds up to 20 mph. The material is also weather-resistant, but we recommend not displaying our flags outdoors on high wind or snowy days to extend their lifespan. All flags are sewn with a double lockstitch sewing.
How Long do flags last?
The lifespan can vary greatly depending on various weather factors, many of which vary by region like Sun/UV intensity, snow, or high rates of winds. We use a high-quality UV protected polyester blend and durable double stitch sewing to minimize the impact of these unavoidable environmental factors, and to maximize the lifespan of your flag. Because of this, flags are warrantied for 90 days.
Maintenance Info:
We suggest bringing flags inside during inclement weather, at night, or if it gets super windy. Make sure to store away properly when not in use. Flags should be brought in during high winds and storms and are rated for wind speeds up to 20 mph.
Do these flags have another name?
Yes, Vertical flags are called multiple names. They are also commonly referred to as: Vertical Drape flags, Color Panel Vertical Flags, Windless Vertical Flags, Rectangle Flags

This budget friendly 13 ft Aluminum pole is our economy pole option for 3’x8’ Vertical Flags. The adjustable pole clips can accommodate multiple flag sizes and types.

This budget friendly 16 ft Aluminum pole is our economy inground pole option for 3’x8’ Vertical Flags. The adjustable pole clips can accommodate multiple flag sizes and types.
